Where we are?
We are located at Ped Village on the island of Nusa Penida, Bali, Indonesia.
Our neighbours are local businesses – home stays, villas, clinic and residents of Nusa Penida.
The beach where our boats are departing for dive trips is 35 meters away from our doorstep across the main road. Your diving logistics is basically crossing the road and taking the steps to the beach, where our boats are parked.
There are several beachfront cafes and restaurants within the range from 100 to 200 meters from us, making it pretty easy to sort out dinner plans.

If you are a nature loving water sports enthusiast, you came to Nusa Penida to explore the underwater world with comfort – we think we are your place.
We built our place with scuba divers, free-divers and snorkelers in mind, aiming at providing maximum comfort for like-minded people.
Our location allows you to spend no time at all to get to your gear, swimming pool and dive boat.
If you are looking for absolute tranquility and disconnection from the world – we’d suggest checking out accommodation options located uphill, away from the village.
what do we offer?
We operate one room and six bungalows. They are called “Pool Room” and “Garden Bungalow”, though that’s for the purpose of differentiation only. Both accommodation types are facing the pool and a small garden.

At Pure Dive Resort, we value transparency. To help you decide if our accommodation is the right fit for your stay, please review the following details regarding our facilities, location, and local environment.
Booking our accommodation
We prioritise bookings for scuba divers and free divers, as we are primarily a dive resort. The most efficient way is booking a Dive and Stay or Learn and Stay Packages with accommodation, transfers and diving. Such packages are very flexible and customisable – just let us know your preferences and we’ll send you the best possible offer.
We do not list or accept bookings via major platforms like Agoda or Booking.
Arrival and Departure
- Check-in time: 2:00 p.m.
- Check-out time: 12:00 p.m.
- Early check-ins: We do our best to accommodate early arrivals if we receive prior notice, though this is subject to room availability.
Location and Neighborhood Atmosphere
Our resort is located in the village of Ped, situated along the main coastal road and just 35 meters from the ocean. Being part of a vibrant local community means you are close to many amenities. Please note that local regulations allow for music and activity until 10:00 p.m. at nearby cafes and households. If you are seeking absolute silence or a remote retreat, we recommend looking at villas located high in the hills of Nusa Penida.
Room Standards and Policies
- Occupancy: Each bungalow or room accommodates a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child (up to 8 years old).
- Smoking: All indoor areas and bungalows are strictly non-smoking.
- Pets: We do not allow pets on the premises.
- Food and Dining: We provide tea and coffee sets in every room. To protect the interior and maintain hygiene, food consumption is not permitted inside the bungalows. We have designated, comfortable communal areas throughout the resort where you can enjoy meals or food deliveries.
- Water Quality: We provide centrally supplied fresh water. For your comfort, this water is additionally filtered and softened through our in-house system.
Living with Nature
We are located less than 50 meters from the jungle. To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we do not use harsh chemical pesticides.
- Wildlife: You will likely see geckos (small lizards) around the resort. They are harmless and common throughout Indonesia. There are no venomous insects on the island, except for bees and hornets.
- Mosquitos: We recommend using anti-mosquito repellents starting early afternoon. There is an organic mosquito repellent in each bungalow and room, unless you prefer to use your own.
- Safety: In the unlikely event you see a snake, please remain calm, move away, and notify the front desk immediately so our trained staff can assist.
Health and Safety Protocols
- Swimming Pool: Our pool is disinfected with the minimum amount of chemicals required for safety. There is no lifeguard on duty. Guests are responsible for their own safety, and parents must supervise their children at all times. Children participating in a dive course will be under the direct supervision of a dive professional.
- Seismic Activity: Nusa Penida is in a seismically active zone. Our structures are built to exceed local safety regulations. In the event of an earthquake, please exit your room immediately and proceed to the pool decking, which serves as our emergency meeting point.

PRICES AND EXTRAS
All prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). To understand the approximate currency exchange rate, we recommend www.xe.com. Actual exchange rate on the island may differ significantly when it comes to certain currencies. Prices include local taxes and fees related to diving, there are no charges or extra fees for any dive sites. The description of each product or service we offer or render includes a full description of inclusions and extras.

Safety of our guests is our top priority while planning and organising our daily dive trips.
We always choose the dive sites with the best possible conditions to bring our guests to.
Please keep in mind that some dive sites in the area are very condition dependant. Manta Bay, Manta Point and Crystal Bay are probably the most popular dive sites in the area. However these dive sites are located in the south part of Nusa Penida thus being exposed to the swell and surge the most. We can usually predict the conditions roughly 5-7 days in advance, but sometimes the mother nature behaves, making the diving on those sites impossible due to the swell.
We do not cancel our dive trips trips because of the weather (rain, clouds etc.) unless there has been an official storm warning issued by the local authorities. In this case your trip will be either rescheduled or refunded.
From our more than 13+ years experience of diving at Nusa Penida, Lembongan and Ceningan there is always a part of the island which is not affected by wind, waves etc.
Cases of natural disasters and certain anthropogenic factors – volcano eruptions, earthquakes, pandemics, floods, tsunamis, acts of war, alien invasions etc. are considered force majeur.
Please allow for the sufficient surface interval before you take a flight after your last dive. We’d recommend you to consider planning your flight no earlier than 24 hours after your last dive.
Your package schedule can be easily adjusted to meet that requirement – just let us know your flight time.

We discount our packages if you bring and use your complete set of scuba gear or if you are an active status dive professional.
Please, let us know you’re bringing your own wetsuit, BCD, fins, boots, mask and regulator while making your booking with us. We’d be happy to provide you with our best offer.
Package booking
We strongly recommend booking your package with us in advance.
Our booking system is paperless, once we finalise your dates and itinerary with you – we’ll send you the link that will allow you to register yourself for the agreed dates. By registering you are providing us with all necessary information to arrange the gear and groups according to your level and experience. All necessary paperwork – Medical Statement, Liability Release and Responsible Diver Code – is provided via the mentioned link and needs to be signed prior to any in-water activities with us. Please, pay attention to the Medical Statement and make sure you have a necessary medical clearance in case it’s required (the system will let you know immediately if it is).
A refundable deposit of the 50% of the total booking is required to confirm the booking.
Please, kindly make sure you understand our Booking, Payment and Cancellation Terms (or below), before you make and confirm your booking.
By transferring the requested deposit you agree to our Booking, Payment and Cancellation Terms fully and unconditionally. Upon completing your booking with us we will send you a booking confirmation, indicating your itinerary (meeting time, departure time, expected duration of the experience, amount of the deposit paid and the amount due).
You can contact us by either e-mail, WhatsApp or Facebook messenger in order to secure your spot on the boat for the desired date. We do our best to respond as soon as possible within our operating hours.
Payment
You can make a deposit using various methods of payment:
– bank transfer to our local account in IDR or our affiliated (linked accounts) in USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and SGD
– PayPal in in USD
– credit card payment in USD,
– cryptocurrency in USDT
While in Nusa Penida you can settle your bill using all of the methods mentioned above, with credit or debit card (non-Indonesian cards attract 3% surcharge) and, of course, cash.
There are several ATMs between two harbours (Toyapakeh and Sampalan), power blackouts are possible though. It would be more comfortable to have some cash on you.
Please note, that we are located on a remote island. Though we do have card facilities, sometimes the connection can be lost for hours on the whole island. Settling in cash can often be the simplest and safest option.
There are money exchange offices on the island, however exchange rates are generally way better in Bali, so it’s wise to change your money while in Bali.

Life is usually full of surprises and sometimes they are not exactly what we expect.
We strongly recommend you arrange travel insurance for your holiday, which may help you to smooth out unforeseen problems that might occur during your trip (hopefully not).
If you decide to or have to cancel your booked trip or package last minute – we won’t be able to refund.
If you wish to cancel your booking 30 or more days prior to the booked date – we’ll refund the full amount (excluding transfer fees and charges). We will return 50 percent of the paid deposit if the cancellation is made within the period of 30 to 20 days prior to your booking. If you cancel less than 20 days prior to your booking your deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation
Meeting time for all in-water activities is 30 minutes prior to the departure of our boats or scheduled pool training. This allows sufficient time for filling up all necessary paperwork and getting the matching size wetsuits and booties.
Our boats departure times on particular dates, as well as the time we start the classes and pool training are based on ocean conditions (tides) and our operating hours. Please, kindly make sure you take the time mentioned in your booking confirmation into account while planning your trip and transfers, allowing enough time for reaching us in time for the booked program. In case you will be unable to reach us in time for the booked program (dive trip, diving course, introductory program) – that will be considered a cancellation of the booking.
If the requirements of the booked activity foresee the pre-existing diving certification of the participant – it’s a responsibility of the participant to provide a valid proof of dive certification. Accepted proofs of certification are: dive certificate (physical or digital) issued by the internationally recognised training agency or diver’s logbook with duly logged and verified dives. Failure to provide a valid dive certification prior to any in-water activity will be considered a cancellation of the booking.
All participants must read, agree and sign required paperwork prior to any in-water activity – this is required by local regulations for the water sports. Samples of such paperwork are listed on our website on each page for the corresponding activity, links to the requested paperwork will be sent to each participant prior to the booking confirmation and upon confirming the booking. Failure or refusal to sign the mentioned paperwork will be considered a cancellation of the booking.
The ability to swim and float in the deep water is a mandatory requirement for any in-water activity with us.
Introductory and entry level dive courses start with a swim test conducted in our pool (a mandatory part of the course) – 200 meters swim and 10 minutes survival float. In case a participant fails to pass the mentioned test – we won’t be able to proceed with the course and that will be considered a cancellation of the booking.
We will do our best to help our guests and reschedule the booked itinerary based on the availability. Though it might simply be not possible sometimes.
